The Red Quarter

Malice does not hunt enemies; she collects promises. Every mark on her coat records a bargain broken, and every battle brings her closer to the architect of the Unholy War.

The debt remembers who created it.

The Western Gate

Rook still wears the armor of a vanished order. He has forgotten the oath, but not the people it was meant to protect—and that contradiction makes him dangerous to every side.

A gate is a promise made from both sides.

The Black Archive

Graves maps conflict like architecture. He can see the pressure point in any alliance, but the one calculation he cannot finish is whether he began the war he claims to be ending.

Nothing forbidden stays buried forever.

The Drowned Rooms

Mara moves between factions without belonging to any of them. The Crownless call her traitor, the Reliquary calls her ghost, and the truth sits somewhere in the space between.

Every witness remembers the mask they needed.

Above the Weather

Zero was designed to obey a command that no longer exists. Now the strongest fighter in the Null Choir must decide whether freedom is a purpose—or simply another order.

An absent command is still a kind of cage.
